Cambridge University Real Tennis Club

I've had an amazing experience so far. The coaches are great, especially Kees, who is incredibly knowledgeable and makes the sessions both engaging and fun. The whole team is friendly, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a challenge. I also love that the training involves a strategic element.

The club is open to all, and annual membership is a really reasonable price. You can do a free taster lesson to see if you like it before joining. Kees - who ran the free lesson - is an excellent and friendly coach. Highly recommend.

The real tennis courts do rather give them impression that they are about to fall down. They stand, waiting for the inevitable day when the are wholly subsumed by the Cambridge university library. Until they die, however, they are one of the only places in the country where you can treat yourself to a bracing round of real tennis - none of this lawn nonsense. Who could truly say this was a bad thing?
