PDL Padel United - Wirral

It's great that you can turn up and play here so cheaply. The courts are good quality. Racquets and balls are available to use for free but they are poor quality, held together with gaffer tape. I'm sure if you enjoy playing, you'll quickly buy your own. You're given a code to enter through the main gate then you're on you're own, you have to keep an eye on timings etc yourself. There are no other facilities, the tennis club is locked up and in parts is very run down with boarded up windows etc. There is plenty of free parking and some nice post match walks through the woods. I feel bad giving this a lower score as it gives so many people the opportunity to try a new sport, however, for such a new initiative, the kit is already tired and there's a lack of basic facilities.

Love it here, play 3/4 times per week if I can. Everyone is friendly and the socials are fantastic for meeting people and getting into the sport too. Comments about the equipment are extremely harsh, new players have broken everything that has been offered over and over, it’s not on the club to keep renewing them, same with the balls. Would highly recommend!

Good value for money and the courts are decent. If you don’t have equipment then they have some things you can use free of charge which I think is cool. Plenty of parking available and usually always a court available. Shame open matches aren’t as common here but they can’t help that. Only criticism, hence the 4 star would be that it is just left a mess all the time. The amount of bottles and equipment just left around is irritating, whilst it’s more the users’ fault than the venue, they are the ones that ultimately need to manage that in whichever way they see fit.
